"The Cello"

My daughter's best friend has played the cello for 12 years. I told her I would paint her a painting for her 18th birthday of anything she wanted and she requested a painting of her cello. It only took her a year to get me photos! But it's finally almost finished. I'm waiting for it to dry so I can paint the strings on the cello and the music on the sheets of music. It was really fun to do this. I've never painted an instrument before. I'm very pleased how it turned out! I hope Meg enjoys it. She's in college now but her parents are going to deliver it to her soon. Let me know how you like this painting.
