I had a customer contact me via Etsy that lived in the Washington D.C. area and she came to my home studio to look at paintings.  She loved this one of the Italian Vineyard.  She also wants to commission me for a much larger painting.  Here's hoping for more sales!  January is working out well.  Happy New Year!

2016 has started off with a bang!  First I had this commission right after New Years for a lady in Richmond, Virginia.  She had seen my paintings of Bald Head Island on my website and was waiting to commission me.  She got some extra Christmas money and contacted me to paint this one for her.  I spent a week on Bald Head, Island a few years ago.  It's a lovely spot in North Carolina.  I'm so happy for her.

A last minute Christmas present sold to a gentleman in Annandale, Virginia who found me on Etsy!  I hope his wife likes it.  It's always fun to paint the monuments.  I've done them in different seasons and during the day and night.  I've sold quite a few of the night paintings.  Remember original art or prints for gifts!  Even a gift certificate for that person and they can choose an existing piece or commission one from me.

SOLD! Cypress Tree

Sold
The Lone Cypress Tree
9 x 12

This was one of my very first paintings.  I sold it to someone in California.  It is a California Cypress Tree.  I use to live in Northern California where they grow by the coast.  I've always loved these trees.  So glad it went to a home there!

I love this painting as it really gives you the feel of the lavender fields.  If you're lucky enough to be in France during the later part of July you just might catch the fields in full bloom.  It really is breathtaking!  This one was painted with a lot of texture.  It's headed to a new home in Charlottesville, Virginia!
