"Sidewalk Cafe"

There's nothing I like more than to recreate my travel experiences than in my paintings. I especially love to paint Italy & France. This little painting of a French Cafe depicts perfectly the sidewalk cafes you find everywhere in France. The beauty of the colored shutters, awnings, flower pots and tables put you in the mood for relaxing before you even sit down to order anything. I can't resist thinking about a cappuccino and croissant or a lovely glass of wine on a hot summer day when looking at this painting. It immediately takes me back to the vacation like music can take you back to a moment in time. I will never tire of painting my memories of trips I've taken.
MOUNTAIN HEIGHTS PLATEAU Extending from Umm Qays (also Qais) at one of the country’s northernmost points to the town of Ras-an-Naqab to the south, Air Jordan Shoes, the Mountain Heights Plateau is a terrain of rugged mountains and highlands that separate western Jordan from the arid deserts of the Badia region. The north receives the highest levels of rainfall. As such, it is a region of often fast-flowing rivers that provide water for irrigation.
ReplyDeleteThe rivers of Wadi Musa, Wadi Hassa, Wadi Zarqa and the great Wadi Mujib all flow through this part of the plateau region. Vast areas of fertile land ripe for agriculture lie either side of the wadis, and because they yield crops for consumption they have attracted habitation for millennia. Retro Jordans, Amman and the major settlement areas of Karak, Irbid, Madaba and Zarqa are located in this part of the Mountain Heights Plateau region. Here, too, can be found the remains of the ancient Greco-Roman city of Jerash to the north of Amman, and the Nabatean city of Petra in the south, suggesting the area has been populated and provided sustenance for the people since the times of antiquity.
'Ihe southern areas of the plateau, south of the northern highlands, are characterised by a mix of steppes lying at different elevations. While the lower steppes around Madaba receive rainfall and, in turn, Cheap Jordan Shoes, are blanketed with lush vegetation, the higher and southernmost steppes towards Ras an-Naqab are, in contrast, more barren. Little greenery interrupts the rugged mountains in shades ranging from gold to the warmest oranges and reds, and at times sliced by the green-grey of granite.
