I painted this 3 years ago and it finally sold in my Etsy store.  I've always liked painting horses and this one was one of my favorites.  I'm happy to say that it was sent to England to a new loving home. Nicole is sad as it was one of her favorite horse paintings.  Meanwhile I'm busy busy painting my Italy series.  Next month I will be the featured artist at the Gallery Underground and will have a wall to myself!  Everyone will have to come out and see my new paintings.

I'm having so much fun going through my Italy photo's and painting from them.  I'm experimenting a little with different techniques.  This little gem I painted on a canvas board with a palette knife so I could paint the buildings in a very impressionistic way.  I love how it turned out.  Let me know what you think.

I'm off and running with my Italy series.  We visited this vineyard in Tuscany for a wonderful wine tasting and lunch.  I couldn't resist painting it.  This one is in the Montepulciano area.  It was an exquisite day!  This lovely painting is available in my Etsy store:
